Rakhi Sawant has been making headlines for her third marriage with Pakistani actor-businessman, Dodi Khan. The actress even confirmed that they were going to have a ‘love marriage’ soon. She re-posted a video of her dancing while donning a red lehenga to celebrate the confirmation of her wedding. But her happiness has been short-lived as Dodi Khan posted a video where he clarified that he is not going to tie knot despite proposing to Rakhi. He appreciated Rakhi’s struggle and revealed the reasons why he proposed to her for marriage. Dodi even mentioned why he chose to not marry Rakhi. 

In the video, Dodi Khan said “Hello India and Pakistan, this is Dodi Khan. A few days ago, on social media, you saw a video of mine in which I had proposed Rakhi Sawant. I proposed her because I know her very well. When I started knowing her, I felt she is a person who loves god a lot. She has seen a lot of ups and downs in her life, she lost her parents but was with them when they were ill. A guy came in her life, you all know what he did to her. She has come out of a lot of trauma. She accepted Islam, went for Umrah, and changed her name to Fatima. I liked that a lot that’s why I proposed to her.” 

“But, I think that this is not acceptable to people because I have received a lot of messages and videos, and I cannot tolerate it. So, Rakhi ji, you are my very good friend, and will always be. You might not be able to be my bride, but I promise you that you will become the daughter-in-law of Pakistan. I will make you get married to one of my brothers,” he added.

Seeing the video, Rakhi commented (heartbroken and sad emojis) on the post. Earlier confirming her marriage to Dodi, Rakhi told News18 “He is my love. We love each other. He is from Pakistan. I am from India, so we will have a love marriage. He is my love. We love each other. He is from Pakistan. I am from India, so we will have a love marriage.” 

Rakhi was early married to Adil Khan Durrani but they parted away in 2023 on an ugly note. She first tied knot to Ritesh Raj Singh but they got separated in 2022.
