Park Bo Young, one of South Korea’s most beloved actresses, has a knack for delivering heartfelt performances. Her collaborations with members of the famed Wooga Squad have further cemented her status as a fan favourite. With her upcoming Kdrama Melo Movie, where she stars alongside Choi Woo Shik, fans can’t help but wonder if BTS V, aka Kim Taehyung, might be her next co-star.

Melo Movie, set to premiere on Netflix on Valentine’s Day, brings together Park Bo Young and Choi Woo Shik in a heartwarming romantic drama. Park Bo Young: Collaborations With Wooga Squad Members

Park Bo Young has a history of working with Wooga Squad members, a group of close-knit Korean celebrities that includes Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, Peakboy and BTS V aka Kim Taehyung.

In 2017, Park Bo Young teamed up with Park Hyung Sik for the hit Kdrama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Their portrayal of a quirky yet endearing romance won hearts globally and remains a fan favourite.

Her 2023 film Concrete Utopia saw her sharing the screen with Park Seo Joon. Directed by Um Tae-hwa, the disaster-thriller explored the lives of survivors in post-earthquake Seoul and earned critical acclaim. It was even selected as South Korea’s entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 96th Academy Awards.

Now, with her upcoming collaboration with Choi Woo Shik in Melo Movie, fans are drawing connections between her choice of co-stars and the Wooga Squad.
