BTS RM aka Kim Namjoon recently delighted fans with a nostalgic treat on Instagram. On January 20, the rapper shared two precious childhood photos, giving ARMYs a rare glimpse into his early years and his bond with his dad.

In one photo, a young Namjoon can be seen happily riding on his dad’s back, while in the other, the duo strikes a playful peace sign pose for the camera. Another fan shared a touching memory of RM’s dad, recalling a note he wrote for Namjoon before his military enlistment. The note, accompanied by a drawing, symbolized their close bond.

Born on September 12, 1994, at 1:28 PM KST, RM was a big baby, weighing 4.47 kg at birth. His mother, who was 29 years old at the time, welcomed him into the world with joy. RM’s recent post not only showcases his childhood but also highlights his comfort in sharing personal memories with his fans.
