New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: There are numerous films that have been made in Bollywood on the concept of husband, wife and extramarital relationship, some of them are serious and while some include comedy. Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film with the same name that featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjita Kaur in lead roles. When the trailer of the film was released, many had predicted that the movie will be an old 'cliched' concept, which might not impress the audience. But, after watching the film, those people were proved wrong. The evergreen formula of extramarital affair seems to be a hit among audiences even today.
Story
Pati Patni Aur Woh is a story of Abhinav aka Chintu Tyagi (played by Kartik Aaryan) from Lucknow, who is an ideal son. He is a government employee in the PWD department in Uttar Pradesh and is married to Vedika Tripathi (Bhumi Pednekar). After three years of marriage, their love takes a back seat. Troubled by the torture of his wife to leave Lucknow and settle in Delhi, Chintu Tyagi chooses to stay in his hometown.
Meanwhile, the glamourous girl Tapasya Singh aka Ananya Pandey enters his life who comes to Lucknow to do business. After meeting Tapasya, Chintu's boredom is released from his life. There is a lot of twists and turns in the story. One fine day Chintu's petty temper and lies are busted. After this, the movie shows how Chintu gets stuck between his 'Patni' Vedika and 'Woh' Tapasya.
Acting
Kartik Aaryan has played a great role as Chintu Tyagi. A husband who is bored with his married life, craves for adventure in life. There is also a small monologue of Kartik in the film, on which the audience starts applauding in the cinema hall.
After interval, Ananya Panday's work is good, her level of confidence makes her look like a glamorous diva. The role of Bhumi Pednekar as Chintu Tyagi's wife is unmissable. There is a fine tuning between friends Kartik and Ayushmann Khurrana. Actor Sunny Singh has a cameo role in the film. Although, there is no scene of him with Kartik, yet Sunny Singh's entry creates excitement among the audience.

The film is filled with comedy, romance and entertainment. There is no reason to skip the film. The film depicts the importance of trust between husband and wife relationship with a pinch of comedy. Mudassar Aziz's direction is amazing. The film does not lose shape from beginning to end. Casting, comic timing, dialogue, acting, screenplays all are perfect. The songs of the film have already proved to be a blockbuster.
