Pepe Trailer Out: Kannada actor Vinay Rajkumar, is gearing up for his new film Pepe. The trailer, directed by Sreelesh S Nair, has already made waves. Spanning 2 minutes and 43 seconds, it opens with unsettling scenes of violence and a woman covered in blood, quickly moving to depict Vinay wielding a sickle in dramatic assassinations. The film will also feature Raviprasad Mandya, Kitty Sridhar, Shashidhar Bhat, Bala Rajwadi, Aruna Balraj, Sandya Arekere, and Shivu Kabbanahalli in significant roles.
Unveiled by renowned actor Kiccha Sudeep, the trailer provides a gripping preview of a narrative steeped in themes of communal strife, village conflicts, political machinations, and entrenched beliefs. Vinay Rajkumar is seen in a dramatic new role as a formidable village figure, a significant shift from his previous work. His performance is intense and action-packed, promising a powerful cinematic experience that tackles serious issues like caste discrimination, gender inequality, and the harshness of rural life. Directed by Sreelesh S Nair, Pepe has been awarded an A certification and is set to hit theaters on August 30.

The trailer hints at a story addressing serious issues such as crimes against women and group rivalries, culminating with the tagline, 'Love Blood and Betrayal.' Soon after the trailer was launched, many took to social media to shower love on the actor. A user wrote, "Vinay has the potential to become a cult actor in sandalwood. Just focus on good scripts. Pepe BGM is Lit . Waiting to watch it on big screens ." Another added, "This will be a great comeback for Vinay Rajkumar and Mayur Patel for sure...Waiting for the release!".
The trailer's tremendous success has sparked significant interest from the Tamil and Telugu film industries, with producers keenly inquiring about the film's dubbing rights. Pepe will be distributed by KRG Studios and also stars Mayur Patel, Naveen D Padil, Yash Shetty, Kaajal Kunder, Medini Kelamane among others.
The music is composed by Poorna Chandra Tejaswi, with cinematography by Abhishek G Kasaragod. The action choreography is managed by Ravi Verma, Chetan D’Souza, Different Danny, and Narsimha.
