Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently attended a special screening of The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Riddhi Dogra. The screening was organized for NDA MPs, and PM Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his review of the film. Sharing pictures from the screening, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the filmmakers' efforts. He wrote, “Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of The Sabarmati Report. I commend the makers of the film for their effort.” The event marked a significant moment for the cast and crew, with Vikrant Massey describing the experience of watching the movie with PM Modi as unforgettable.
In an interview with ANI, Vikrant shared that the screening with the Prime Minister was the highlight of his career. He encouraged audiences to watch the film in theatres, emphasizing its powerful narrative and impact.

Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, the film is a collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures, Vikir Films, and Zee Studios, with producers Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan at the helm. Released on November 15, the movie has grossed ₹35.56 crore at the box office and has been declared tax-free in states such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.

The screening coincided with Vikrant Massey’s surprising announcement about retiring from films. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he wrote, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home—as a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor.”
