Now, the movie is available for online streaming, making its digital debut on an OTT platform.

Pombalai Orumai: Cast and Plot Details

Directed by Vipin Atlee, the Malayalam thriller explores the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and is set in the backdrop of a rural area in Kerala. The film stars Sreeshma Chandran and Jitheesh Parameshwar in the lead roles. In addition to them, Pombalai Orumai also features Shilpa Anil, Twinkle Joby, Vidya Rani, Archa Lakshmi, Dhanisha Surendran, Amrutha Babu, Babitha Basheer, Jishnu Thilak, Sivan Megha, Mosappan Palarivattom, Liya Antony, Jose Maliekkal, Maithrayan, Trincy Mambra, and Jagadeesh Sankaran in significant roles.

The story revolves around a Junior Health Inspector from Ernakulam, who is transferred to a rural locality during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health Inspector meets Sunitha (Sreeshma Chandran), a tailor who seeks help in an investigation. The Health Inspector, along with a group of friends, helps Sunitha find the solution to the case. With their support, Sunitha embarks on a journey to uncover the mysteries behind her case. The captivating narrative, written jointly by Vipin Atlee and Gini K., is produced under the banner of Macrom Pictures. The music for the Malayalam thriller was composed by Syam Ramesh.
