Poonam Pandey's Bodyguard REVEALS She Never Mentioned Illness; Dropped Her Home On January 29

Poonam Pandey has NOT left us. The actess who faked death due to cervical cancer, is alive. Her manager had earlier officially confirmed that Poonam 'is dead'. The news had prompted shock and widespread speculation due to the absence of specific details or an official statement from her family. The 32-year-old, last seen on the reality show Lock Upp, was dropped off home by her bodyguard on January 29.

As per India Today report, Poonam's bodyguard, Amin Khan, disclosed that the last time he was with the actor-model was on January 29 when he dropped her home. He expressed that Poonam Pandey's death has become shrouded in mystery. Having served as her bodyguard for the past 10 years, he conveyed his shock at the news and admitted uncertainty about its authenticity. "I last left madam on January 29; we had a photo shoot with Rohit Verma in Mumbai. After that, I dropped her home. She never mentioned any illness to me or any staff."

"We went home, but the watchman refused to let anyone in," the bodyguard added.

Team's statement

Following the issuance of an official statement by Poonam Pandey's team regarding her death, they released a subsequent statement. In this statement, Poonam's team mentioned that her sister was the first to confirm the news of her death. However, they are still awaiting additional information on the matter. The official statement reads, "This is to place on record that we have received a call from her family member (sister) this morning regarding her sudden demise and confirming the news (as posted on her official Insta ID). We are awaiting further information from the family to update everyone. We will release an official statement as we receive further updates."

In addition to her contributions to the entertainment industry, Poonam Pandey is acknowledged as a multifaceted personality with a vibrant presence across various social media platforms. She gained notoriety when she made a controversial promise to strip naked if the Indian cricket team emerged victorious in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Although she did not directly fulfill that pledge, it generated considerable media coverage.
