Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's maiden collaboration 'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire' received a massive response on the teaser of the film and has now announced the trailer details of the mega action entertainer.

The trailer of the film will be released in August making the fans flood social media with excitement for the big revelation. The makers of the film shared a thankful note for 'Salaar's fans making the teaser, the most viewed ever in the history of Indian cinema.

The Hombale Production asked fans of Prabhas to block August announcing the major trailer release of the film. Taking to their Twitter, the note read, "Mark your calendars for the end of August, as we prepare to unleash the highly-anticipated trailer that will showcase the grandeur of Indian cinema."

It further read, "Get ready for an unforgettable experience, as big things await you. Stay tuned for more updates and be prepared to witness the magnificence that awaits. Together, let's continue this exhilarating journey, creating history and celebrating the power of Indian cinema."

The 'Salaar' teaser was released on July 7 on social media and has now crossed over 100 million views on YouTube taking a violent record. The teaser showcased Prabhas in a high-octane action avatar and also termed him as 'the most violent man' with powerful vision and dialogue.

Several fans compared the film to be a part of Prashanth Neel's 'KGF' universe looking at the similarities between the teaser of 'KGF' and 'Salaar.' 'KGF' featured actor Yash in the lead role. The film was released in two parts and received an overwhelming response at the box office.

Talking about 'Salaar', the film features Shruti Haasan as the feamle lead, whereas Prithviraj Sukumaran will play the role of the antagonist in the film and will essay the role of Vardharaja Mannaar. It also features Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao in lead roles. The film is made on a huge budget of Rs 250 crore and is backed up by the Hombale Films banner by Vijay Kiragandur.
