Janhvi Kapoor has stood out to be one of the highest-paid and popular actresses of her generation. Having a busy pipeline of films in her kitty, the actress made her debut with 'Dhadak' in 2018 and since then has never looked behind.

The 'Bawaal' actress has reportedly bagged another promising film in Kamal Haasan's production, marking her Tamil debut soon. The project is set to be produced by Vignesh Shivan and will possibly star opposite actor Pradeep Ranganathan.

Janhvi Kapoor has accepted in the past that it's her dream to work in the South Indian film industry as her mother-actor Sridevi's roots come from there. She recently signed 'Devara' marking her Telugu debut opposite superstar NTR Jr. and is already making her next move.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the official announcement for this project will soon take place, and will be produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. Happen to cast opposite Pradeep Ranganathan, the actor is known for his perfect comic timing and gave the blockbuster romantic-comedy last year titled 'Love Today' and since then is stepping onto the stairs of success.

Nayanthara's husband and renowned director Vignesh Shivan is roped in for the film. Shivan was earlier in the news to collaborate with superstar Ajith Kumar, however, things ended with no conclusion, Vignesh Shivan is now keenly focusing on this new collaboration.

Talking about Janhvi Kapoor's professional front, the actor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Bawaal.' The film will be released on July 21 and also features Varun Dhawan in the lead role. She also has 'Ulajh' with Gulshan Devaiah in the pipeline. The shoot of the film was recently wrapped in London.
