‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ BO Collection Day 8: Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani’s Rom-Com Starts Second Week On Decent Note

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's much-awaited romantic-comedy 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' lived up to the expectations of the audience. The film is currently creating positive rage at the box office and made big trends on social media.

With a solid first week at the box office and no major releases to clash with, all eyes were on this family entertainer which created tons of hype ahead of its release. After a week's run, the film was able to collect Rs 3.25 crore after entering Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office.

'Satyaprem Ki Katha' managed to collect Rs 9.25 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 7 crore on its second day. However, the first-weekend collection of the film was huge and earned Rs 10.10 crore on Saturday, followed by Rs 12. 15 crore on Sunday.

The film was termed 'average' by the cine-goers as well as by the critics, however, the chemistry and performances of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani were highly applauded. The film marks the second collaboration between the two after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' released last year. The film was directed by Anees Baazmee.

'Satyaprem Ki Katha' marks a massive collaboration between Namah Pictures and NGE banners. It was released on June 29 and is directed by Sameer Vidwans. It also features Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.
