Prabhas is a prominent South actor who has gained worldwide admiration for his role in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 1 and 2. The period drama has been a significant turning point in his career, and he has described it as a game-changer in various previous interviews.
People often recognise him for his portrayal of the lead character in Baahubali, wherever he goes. Now as per a recent report, he is currently in discussions with Baahubali producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni for an exciting new project.
"They have been discussing a few projects for a while, however, they have particularly liked one subject more than the rest, and it is completely different from what they had done in Baahubali. It will be in a unique space, and Prabhas' character won't be like anything that you have seen him play on the big screen earlier. Once Prabhas finishes his ongoing commitments they will look into the logistics of this yet untitled movie," Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
Prabhas has four upcoming films, including Om Raut's Adipurush, Nag Ashwin's Project K, Prashanth Neel's Salaar, and Maruthi Dasari's Raja Deluxe.
During a previous interview with the entertainment portal, Baahubali producer Prasad Devineni had discussed the possibility of a third installment of the series, following director SS Rajamouli's reported hint about it. Devineni explained that Rajamouli meant there was potential to tell another story within the Baahubali universe, with its larger-than-life characters and setting.
However, they are not currently pursuing the project because Rajamouli has other commitments to fulfill first. Nevertheless, Devineni stated that they may consider making Baahubali 3 in the future if everything aligns correctly, but there is currently no active effort being made.
The ongoing discussions between Prabhas and Baahubali producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are not reportedly related to Baahubali 3, but rather to a different project.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the creators of Adipurush dropped a new motion poster featuring Prabhas as Raghav, the film's main character and included a song in the background.
Sharing the motion poster from the film, Prabhas wrote in his caption: "If you can't visit the Char Dhaam, Just chant the name of Prabhu Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram lyrical motion poster out now in Hindi and Telugu."

Om Raut's directorial venture, Adipurush, draws its inspiration from the epic Ramayana and features Prabhas portraying the character of Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. Additionally, the film also includes Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist Lankesh.
