Prithviraj Sukumaran has established himself as one of the most talented and versatile actors in the film industry. The actor has a bunch of projects lined up and he will make his Bollywood debut as well. As per the reports, Prithviraj Sukumaran will collaborate with director Basil Joseph for a comedy entertainer.
According to reports, Basil Joseph will play the role of the protagonist and Prithviraj will be seen as the antagonist. Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil will reportedly be a comedy film which will revolve around a wedding and it will be directed by Vipin Das known for 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.'
Moreover, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil will be produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran under his banner alongside E4 Entertainment.
On the work front, it was reported that Prithviraj will direct a biographical drama which will star Suriya in the lead role. The project will be produced by Saregama and the vice president of Saregama India has confirmed the web series is in development as well.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj will make his Bollywood debut with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. He will be seen in Salaar which also stars Prabhas and Shruti Hassan. The movie will be directed by Prashanth Neel.
Whereas, Basil Joseph is best known for his directorial 'Minnal Murali' which is streaming on Netflix. He has already announced the sequel of Minnal Murali. It revolves around Jaison, who gains superpowers after being struck by lightning.
The movie stars Tovino Thomas and Guru Somasundaram in the lead role and Aju Varghese, Vasisht Umesh, Femina George and Shelly Kishore in the pivotal role. Minnal Murali was Basil Joseph and Tovino Thomas' second collaboration as they have previously worked together in the 2017 film 'Godha'.
Basil also won Best Director Award for Minnal Murali at the Asian Academy Award 2022. He will be seen in Cup, Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham and Ajayante Randam Moshanam.
