Priyanka Chopra earlier announced a new project from her production house Purple Pebble Pictures and has turned producer for the Marathi movie 'Paani'. The actress was earlier in Mumbai to attend the engagement ceremony of her younger brother and reunited with her family members. She later organised the premiere of 'Paani' and looked beautiful in her blue suit. Her look reminded fans of her look in the 2000s era when the 'Fashion' star started her career.
Sharing the pictures from the premiere of 'Paani', Priyanka wrote, "My Last night in Mumbai with some special people. Our Marathi feature film ‘पाणी’ is all set to release theatrically on 18th October."

Talking about the movie, Priyanka said in a statement, "I'm thrilled to share Paani with the world - a true passion project that tackles a vital issue. This film is special, challenging to make but so relevant for the time we live in. This is an inspiring story of one man’s journey to find solutions that will radically change the lives of all those around him."

Director Addinath M. Kothare said, "Working with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Rajshri Entertainment was a treat. To get such a fantastic team in my debut directorial is like a boon for me. With that, I had the support of my father. Paani will soon release in you nearest cinemas and the entire team is confident that it will be an experience that will stay with the audience for a long time."
The movie stars Addinath M. Kothare, Rucha Vaidya, Subodh Bhave, Rajit Kapur, Kishor Kadam, Nitin Dixit, Sachin Goswami, Mohanabai, Shripad Joshi and Vikas Pandurang Patil.
