Priyanka Chopra, the global icon and talented actor, recently opened up about the challenging early days of her Hollywood journey. In a candid conversation on the 'Read the Room' podcast with Cavanaugh James, Priyanka shared her experiences of fear and loneliness during her initial struggles in the industry.

The actor, who is currently gearing up for her upcoming film 'Heads of State', expressed how rejection in Hollywood was a humbling experience for her. Despite facing setbacks, Priyanka remained resilient, stating, "I put my head down and did my work. I didn't bring my pride of 'I am a leading lady and blah blah…' That's what helped me find a position in which I am today."

Reflecting on the challenging phase, Priyanka admitted to feeling lonely and scared, especially in a city like New York. She highlighted the importance of having friends who would call at 2 in the morning, a support system she lacked during that time.

For those unfamiliar with Priyanka's journey, she began her career by winning the Miss World 2000 pageant. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Thamizhan and gained fame in Bollywood with films like Andaaz, Aitraaz and Fashion. Priyanka's versatility has been evident in her roles in films like Mary Kom, Bajirao Mastani and The White Tiger. She also made a memorable cameo in The Matrix Resurrections.

In her latest Hollywood venture, Love Again, Priyanka showcased her talent in the romantic-comedy genre. However, it is her upcoming film Heads of State," featuring John Cena and Idris Elba, that has fans eagerly anticipating her next big screen appearance.
