Aditi Rao Hydari recently shared her views on love and life. The actress, who recently got engaged to Siddharth, her co-star in the film Maha Samudram, is all set to dazzle audiences in the upcoming Netflix original series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazar.

In the show, Aditi portrays the character of Bibbojaan, a courtesan with a deep sense of purpose and a heart full of love. Drawing a parallel between herself and her character, Aditi in a conversation with News18 explains, "Bibbojaan is someone who is torn between her duties and her desires. She is a symbol of love and sacrifice, using her strengths for a greater cause. On the other hand, I am a firm believer in love, simplicity, and positivity."

Reflecting on her upbringing, Aditi shared, "I was fortunate to have a childhood filled with freedom and understanding. This upbringing instilled in me a sense of conviction rather than rebellion. I believe in standing up for what I deserve, whether it's at home, on set, or in any aspect of life."

Aditi also praises the portrayal of women in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films, including Heeramandi. She admires Bhansali's ability to create complex, unapologetic female characters. "Sanjay sir's women are multi-dimensional, just like real women. They are not confined to stereotypes but are empowered individuals with their unique ways of loving and living," she says.

With her engagement to Siddharth and her promising role in Heeramandi, Aditi Rao Hydari is not just an actress but also a woman of substance who believes in the power of love and conviction.
