Priyanka Chopra has been enjoying her quality time with her family, and is often seen accompanying The Jonas Brothers on their tours and concerts, always cheering up for her husband Nick Jonas. The global icon is currently filming for her upcoming action-thriller ‘Heads of State’ alongside John Cena and Idris Elba. However, with the SAG-AFTRA strike, the production on all projects have been halted. Until the issue gets resolved, the production of major projects will remain halted, with the actors not allowed to promote their film.
Amid the free time, Priyanka Chopra broke the news that she stepped away from her NYC restaurant Sona as a partner recently in August 2023. While the official statements claimed the partnership ended on an amicable note, rumour mill has it that things turned sour between Priyanka Chopra and Maneesh Goyal.

The restaurant was launched in 2021. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the moment was indeed special and a proud one to the actress. She said, “Bringing Sona to life will invariably be a proud and significant moment in her career." It also broadened her ambitions to bring Indian culture to the heart of New York. Maneesh Goyal on the other hand, called this partnership a ‘dream come true’ moment for him.
Last year, Maneesh Goyal hosted a joint Diwali party at the Pierre Hotel, with no plans this year, as things have turned hayway between Goyal, Priyanka Chopra, and their best friend Priya Acharia.
With separate parties on the run, it is confirmed that the trio has parted ways. The report also stated Goyal’s statement on co-hosting the party with Ms. Acharia, he stated, “I'm thrilled that after co-hosting with Ms. Acharia, the wonderful South Asian community is large and vibrant enough to warrant two events. I'm so looking forward to both events and the Diwali season ahead."
