Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa franchise is all set to turn into a cult one as it brought record-breaking numbers at the ticket windows on opening day. Since, the announcement of the sequel, fans have been quite excited to see the second part. As Pushpa 2: The Rule made its debut at theatres on December 5, it already began the Pushpa fever all over again. The Telugu movie which released pan India had a blockbuster opening at the box office. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared that Pushpa 2 is all set to break Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan's records. If you are curious to know how much it earned on Day 1 then have a look: 

Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 1

As per Sacnilk, the Telugu movie earned Rs 165 crore on Day 1. On Wednesday, the movie had some special screenings, and it had a collection of Rs 10.1 crore. The total net collection of Pushpa 2 stands at Rs 175.1 crore. The Hindi version earned Rs 71 crore, Telugu version collected Rs 95.1 crore, Tamil version earned Rs 7 crore, Kannada version collected Rs 1 crore and the Malayalam version Rs 5 crore in total. It had 82.66 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatres, 59.83 per cent Hindi occupancy, 50.55 per cent Tamil occupancy, 55.70 per cent Kannada occupancy and 60.33 per cent Malayalam occupancy in theatres on Thursday. 

Pushpa 2 Budget

As per reports, director Sukumar made this film on a budget of around Rs 400 to 500 crore. The exact figure has not been disclosed yet. 

About Pushpa 2 

The sequel continues the rivalry of Pushpa and SP Bhanwar Singh. It will also show how the male protagonist conquers the smuggling world despite having strong enemies. The movie features Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari and Divi Vadthya in key roles. 

Pushpa 2 OTT Release

After its successful theatrical run, Pushpa 2 is all set to stream on Netflix. The release date will be announced later by the makers.
