Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 9: The much-awaited sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule - Part 2 is making waves at the box office with its impressive performance. Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the film has garnered immense attention and has broken several records since its release.
On its ninth day, Pushpa 2 witnessed a slight drop in collections but still managed to rake in an estimated Rs 36.3 crore net across all languages. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the film earned Rs 7.5 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.35 crore in Tamil and Rs 0.2 crore in Kannada and Malayalam combined. In the Hindi belt, on Thursday, it collected Rs 27 crore, followed by an increase to Rs 27.5 crore on Friday, demonstrating its steady upward momentum. With this, the film's total collection in India has reached an impressive Rs 762.1 crore, maintaining its dominance at the box office.
The film had a phenomenal opening, collecting Rs 164.25 crore on its first day. By the end of its first week, Pushpa 2 had amassed Rs 725.8 crore in India alone. Globally, the movie's gross collection stands at Rs 1067 crore, as confirmed by Mythri Movie Makers. This achievement has made Pushpa 2 the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
Allu Arjun, who reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, has reportedly charged a staggering Rs 300 crore for the film, making him the highest-paid actor in Indian cinema. His stellar performance in the first part, Pushpa: The Rise (2021), earned him a National Film Award, further cementing his position as a powerhouse performer.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule delves deeper into the power struggles surrounding red sandalwood smuggling. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj in pivotal roles.

For fans eager to rewatch the film, Netflix has announced that Pushpa 2 will be available on its platform after its theatrical run. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The movie's release date on the OTT platform has not been announced yet.
