Pushpa 2: Actress Sreeleela is set to feature in a special song in the highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, but the fee she’s been paid has become a topic of conversation. Reports suggest she received Rs 2 crore for the performance, which is significantly lower—around 60 per cent less—than Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Rs 5 crore payment for her appearance in the hit song Oo Antava in Pushpa: The Rise.

While Rs 2 crore is still a considerable amount, it marks a decrease from Sreeleela’s reported Rs 4 crore fee for her previous appearance in Guntur Kaaram alongside Mahesh Babu, according to a report by OneIndia.com.

Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor was initially approached to perform in the same Pushpa 2 song, but producers allegedly decided against her because her demand for Rs 5 crore was considered too high. This ultimately led to Sreeleela’s inclusion in the project.

A recently leaked behind-the-scenes image has only heightened fans' anticipation. The picture shows Sreeleela in a traditional black blouse and skirt adorned with intricate designs, alongside Allu Arjun, who dons his signature Pushpa look, complete with an orange outfit. This sneak peek quickly went viral, fueling excitement about their collaboration in the upcoming sequel.

The film, directed by Sukumar, is set to release worldwide on December 5, 2024. Featuring an impressive cast, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun in the lead role with Rashmika Mandanna returning as the female lead. Fahadh Faasil reprises his role as the antagonist, and Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj join the ensemble cast in pivotal roles.

Sreeleela’s upcoming song, titled Kissik, has been teased by the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, as the Song of the Year, with expectations of energetic choreography and catchy music. Dubbed The Dancing Queen by the makers on social media, her performance is expected to make a big impact.

As for the film’s lead stars, Allu Arjun has reportedly earned a record-breaking Rs 300 crore for his role, while Rashmika Mandanna has commanded a fee of Rs 10 crore. Fahadh Faasil’s remuneration is reported to be Rs 8 crore, underscoring the massive budget and high expectations surrounding Pushpa 2: The Rule.
