Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, currently basking in the phenomenal success of Pushpa 2, has addressed rumours about his political debut. The actor’s latest blockbuster has shattered records, crossing ₹1,000 crore at the global box office within a week. While fans eagerly await his next project, speculation about him stepping into politics has been making the rounds.
Reports suggested that Allu Arjun had met political strategist Prashant Kishor to discuss potential political plans. However, his team has firmly dismissed these rumours. Issuing an official statement, they clarified that Allu Arjun has no intentions of joining politics at the moment.
“All the recent rumours about Mr Allu Arjun entering politics are entirely false and baseless. We request media outlets and individuals to refrain from spreading unverified information. For accurate updates, please rely on official statements from Allu Arjun’s team,” the statement read, as reported by Gulte.

In the midst of these rumours, Allu Arjun took time to celebrate the tremendous love Pushpa 2 has received. Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, he shared his perspective on the record-breaking box office numbers. “The numbers you see are a reflection of the people’s love. Numbers are temporary, but the love etched in your hearts will remain forever. Thank you for that love,” the actor said.

He also emphasized his belief that records are meant to be broken. “It is nice to enjoy this success for now. However, within 2-3 months, hopefully by next summer, I want these records to be broken. It doesn’t matter which industry it is—Telugu, Tamil, or Hindi. What matters is that cinema continues to grow,” he added. Allu Arjun expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans for making Pushpa 2 a milestone in Indian cinema. The film’s resounding success has not only cemented his place as a pan-Indian superstar but also highlighted the audience’s unwavering love for his craft.
