Raghu Thatha Twitter Review: The Tamil political comedy film, marking the directorial debut of Suman Kumar, features Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, supported by M. S. Bhaskar, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini, Jayakumar Parameswaran Pillai, Rajeev Ravindranathan, Anandsami, Rajesh Balachandiran, and Aadhira Pandilakshmi. The film hit theatres on August 15 in conjunction with India's Independence Day. Raghu Thatha is going to face competition at the box office from Thangalaan and Demonte Colony 2.

Starring Keerthy Suresh, the film follows the story of a woman who embarks on a transformative journey of self-discovery. In the lead role, Keerthy Suresh navigates the challenges of protecting her identity amidst the imposition of unrealistic government regulations. Those who watched the film are here with reviews. About Raghu Thatha

Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner, this is their first venture into Tamil cinema. The project was officially announced in December 2022, with principal photography beginning the same month and concluding by mid-May 2023. Filming took place mainly in Chennai. The soundtrack for the film is composed by Sean Roldan, with cinematography by Yamini Yagnamurthy and editing by T. S. Suresh.

At the film’s launch event, the makers emphasised that Raghu Thatha is a pure comedy and clarified that it does not delve into political themes. Keerthy Suresh mentioned that she chose to take on the role after she was able to fully immerse herself in the character, as directed by Suman Kumar. Also, the actress clarified that the movie is distinct in its approach, focusing on various forms of tyranny and issues concerning women.
