Thangalaan Twitter Review: Chiyaan Vikram has returned to the big screen with another intriguing movie 'Thangalaan', which has created huge excitement among his fans ever since its announcement. The movie has finally been released in theatres and is already getting a good response from the viewers who watched the movie in the early morning shows. The plot of 'Thangalaan' focuses on the actual history of the Kolar Gold Fields (KFG).

Apart from Vikram, the movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Vettai Muthukumar, Arjun Anbudan and Sampath Ram.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, director Pa Ranjith talked about the plot of 'Thangalaan' and said, "It’s an interesting film that takes place during the colonial period. It’s set in the KGF gold mines and about the freedom the oppressed people, who worked in the mines, wanted. Was their leader able to fulfill their wishes? The story revolves around this."

Action choreographer Stunner Sam, in an interview with Galatta Plus, talked about the action sequence in 'Thangalaan'. He said, "Each one has a different variation. There are sequences in the fire, water, and across different landscapes. You won't witness any resemblances. There's one sequence where he (Vikram) performed while being surrounded by fire and is not something anybody else would do."

'Thangalaan' has released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green, known for films like 'Si3' and 'Thaanaa Serndha Koottam', to name a few. Besides 'Thangalaan', Studio Green, has another big release this year with the Suriya starrer 'Kanguva'.
