Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Raid 2 is now running in theatres. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Desmukh in lead roles. The movie follows the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik (Devgn), who tracks another white-collar crime. Raid 2 received positive response from fans and critics alike after its release and it has been performing great at the box office, as evident from its opening day collection.

According to Sacnilk, Raid 2 raked in Rs 18,25 crore on its opening day. The film witnessed a good turnout in cinemas with morning shows occupying 21.23 per cent, while the evening shows saw 42 per cent of occupancy.
Raid 2 beats Shaitaan, Drishyam 2 and Tanhaji day 1 collection
Raid 2 has etched a new record in the world of box office as the film has surpassed the opening day collection records obtained by Ajay Devgn's hit movies- Shaitaan, Drishyam 2 and Tanhaji. While Shaitaan had collected Rs 15.21 crores on day 1, Drishyam 2's opening day collection stands at Rs 15.38 crores and Tanhaji earned Rs 15.10 crores.

Raid 2 Budget
Raid 2 is reportedly made on a budget of 28 crore.
Written and directed by Ritesh Shah, Raj Kumar Gupta, Akshat Tiwari, Jaideep Yadav and Karan Vyas, the film is a sequel to Raid, which hit the theatres in April 2018. The movie was announced in April 2020. The movie was shot in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in the first half of 2024. In the film, Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Amay Patnaik. Riteish Deshmukh joined the cast in January, while Vaani Kapoor replaced Ileana D’cruz as the female lead. Raid 2 was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres in February 2025, but it later got postponed and released on May 1, 2025.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, Amit Trivedi, Rochak Kohli, Sachet–Parampara and White Noise Collectives composed the movie’s soundtrack, while the background score is composed by Amit Trivedi.
