Rajkummar Rao made a name in Bollywood after a long struggling acting career. The actor, who bought a house covering 3456 square feet in 2022, recalled a piece of advice given by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Rajkummar said once King Khan told him to buy a house beyond his status. Recalling SRK’s words, the actor termed his statement very fascinating. He also said that having a home in Mumbai is like a dream come true. The Srikanth actor bought the beautiful house from Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor worth Rs 44 crore.
In an interview with Mashable, Rajkummar said “Shah Rukh sir had taught me one thing ‘Beta kabhi bhi ghar lega na, toh aukaat se thoda zyaada lena. Kyunki phir na, upar wala bhi dekhta hai aur tu khud bhi zyada mehnat karega (Son, whenever you buy a house, buy one a little beyond your means. That way, you’ll work harder because you’d want to earn it).’ I found this very fascinating. Having a home in the city is of course a dream and we have built it lovingly, me and Patralekhaa.”
This is not the first time the actor got inspired by Shah Rukh Khan. Earlier, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Rajkummar said “There’s a lot to learn from (Shah Rukh Khan). Shah Rukh sir, the way he treats you, the way he gives you so much of respect. His whole attention is on you. He’s present, that’s a great quality. Just to listen to someone. At every party, he would go down three floors, come to your car, open the door for you, make you sit and say bye to you till you are out of his sight.”
Since childhood I’ve been saying his dialogues. What a wonderful feeling when he decides to say my dialogue this time. There’s is no one like you @iamsrk sir. You’ve inspired me to become an actor. Biggest fan ever. ❤️❤️❤️ #Stree pic.twitter.com/9o1tyUabiL
