Ram Charan And Upasana's Friends Host A Baby Shower For Parents-To-Be, Allu Arjun, Sania Mirza In Attendance

Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela are all set to welcome their first child. Recently, their friends hosted a baby shower for the new parents-to-be in Hyderabad over the weekend, pics and videos of which have been doing rounds on social media. While Ram Charan looked dapper in a black outfit, Upasana exuded elegance in a long shimmery pink dress. The guest list of the baby shower included Pushpa star Allu Arjun and also ace Badminton player Sania Mirza.

Sharing a picture with the mom-to-be on his Instagram Stories, Allu Arjun wrote, "Soo happy for my Sweetesttt Upsi @Upasanakaminenikonidela (sic)." In the picture, the duo could be seen simply posing in front of the camera. While Allu Arjun looked dapper in a black outfit, Upasana opted for a pink-coloured dress.

Upasana also shared some glimpses from her baby shower which saw several celebs gracing the party. Badminton ace Saniya Mirza looked pretty in a yellow outfit, while Kanika Kapoor, who also attended the baby shower, wore a green-coloured dress.

Recently, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Upasana talked about her pregnancy. She said, "I am very, very excited and also very proud that I chose to become a mother when we wanted to, not when society wanted to. So, ten years after our marriage, we have taken a call to have a kid now and I think it’s the best time because both of us are booming, both of us are financially secure and we can take care of our kids by ourselves."

She further notedded, "It was our mutual decision. As a couple, we didn’t let pressure hit us, whether it is from the society outside, our family or outsiders. Which says a lot about our relationship and how we are going to bring up our child as well."
