Raveena Tandon was caught up in a controversy after she was accused of assaulting three women in Mumbai. A video of the actress went viral on social media in which she was surrounded by people, who attacked her and also said that her driver hit them. She was also accused of being drunk while talking to the people but the police later gave clean chit to her. She finally broke her silence after the incident and thanked her followers for their support.

Raveena wrote on Instagram, "Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief and support! Moral of the story? Get dashcams and cctvs now!"

In the viral video, a woman was heard saying, "My nose is bleeding. She assaulted me." Raveena requested the people to not record videos and not to hit her. She is heard saying, "Don’t push. Please don’t hit me." The crowd gets angry and says, "Maaro isko (hit her)".

In another video, a man named Mohammed claimed that Raveena's driver ran over his mother and later assaulted his niece after coming out of his car. He further claimed that Raveena Tandon was drunk when she hit his mother. He said in the video, "They asked us to get it settled out of the police station. But why should we settle scores with them? My mother has been assaulted and I demand justice."

On the work front, Raveena was last seen in the movie 'Patna Shuklla', which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. She will also be seen in the movie 'Welcome To The Jungle' along with Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Aftab Shivdasani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and others. The movie will release on Christmas 2024.
