Eagle Release Date: In a bid to avoid a clash with other much-anticipated releases, the makers of Ravi Teja-starrer 'Eagle' have approached the Telugu Film Chamber, seeking a solo release on February 9. This decision comes after a prior agreement during the Sankranthi season (January 13 release), where 'Eagle' voluntarily stepped back from the race.

The backstory unfolds when five films were set to clash at the box office during Sankranthi. Filmmaker Dil Raju facilitated a discussion, and 'Eagle' agreed to withdraw, securing a promise of a solo release. However, the challenge arose as Sundeep Kishan's 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' and Jiiva’s 'Yatra 2' had already announced their releases around the same date.

The makers of 'Eagle' penned a letter to the Telugu Film Chamber, emphasizing the significance of the promised solo release. The letter stated (shared by Gulte), "By taking the assurance from the chamber, we will get a solo date. Unfortunately, we have been seeing more releases every day, and we request you to take this matter off and give us a solo release."

While 'Tillu Square' producer Naga Vamsi was consulted for the new release date, other filmmakers claim they were not informed. Sundeep Kishan expressed his perspective, saying, "No one consulted with us before promising his team a solo release. This date is very important to us, and many things are at stake. If anyone contacts us, we will discuss the date with them."

The makers of Jiiva and Mammootty-starrer 'Yatra 2' have not acknowledged the clash, continuing to promote their film's release on February 8. As the industry navigates the intricate dynamics of film releases, fans eagerly await updates on whether 'Eagle' will secure its solo release or face a box office clash with other highly anticipated films.
