Kantara become one of the most successful films of 2022 and its craze is still not ending. The movie was recently screened at the United Nations and Rishab Shetty has shared the pictures from the screening as well.

Rishab Shetty talked about environmental protection in his stories and said that he is proud as many Indian movies have talked about this topic.

“The global agencies and the governmental organisations are at the forefront of the pursuit of environmental sustainability. In addition, civil society in India is also involved in local environmental protection. The medium of cinema holds a mirror to such environmental consciousness and plays an important role in showing reality to the world. We are proud that many Indian movies have talked about environment protection through fictional and real stories and created awareness about it,” he said.
“Movies like Kantara expose reality and inspire people to face environmental challenges and solve problems. They awaken emotions and move people towards environmental protection. I appeal to everyone present that such hard work should be recognised and encouraged," he added.

He said, "Rishab is writing the story now and has gone to the forests of coastal Karnataka with his writing associates for two months to conduct research for the film. Rishab is planning to start shooting in June, as a portion of the shoot requires the rainy season. And, our intention is to give the film a pan-India release in April or May next year."
Rishab Shetty directed 'Kantara' and also starred in this film in the lead role. The movie also stars Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty and Vinay Biddappa.
