Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (Netflix)

In the beginning of 2023, the romantic genre witnessed a spectacular start with the release of 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,' featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The storyline revolves around Margaret Tate (played by Sandra Bullock), a Canadian book editor working in the United States. Permanent Roommates (Netflix)

'Permanent Roommates,' a web series crafted by TVF (The Viral Fever), unfolds the narrative of Mikesh Chaudhary (Sumeet Vyas) and Tanya Nagpal (Nidhi Singh), a youthful couple grappling with the challenges of a long-distance relationship. The series kicks off with Mikesh's proposal to Tanya, marking the culmination of their three-year-long distance romance. Princess Diaries (Hotstar)

Garry Marshall and based on Meg Cabot's 2000 novel of the same name. The movie follows the story of an ordinary teenager who discovers she is the heir to a European throne. The story centers around Mia Thermopolis aka Anne Hathaway, a socially awkward teenager living in San Francisco. Mia's life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers that she is the heir to the throne of the fictional European country of Genovia.
