Dimple Kapadia is all set to make her OTT debut in the crime drama 'Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo' which is created and directed by Homi Adajania. The actor will be seen in a different avatar and will be joined by Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar and Angira Dhar as well.

'Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo' will release on Disney+ Hotstar on May 5 at midnight.

The web series has an ensemble star cast including Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, Angira Dhar, Deepak Dobriyal, Monica Dogra and Naseeruddin Shah.

In an interview with Koimoi, Dimple Kapadia said she is thrilled that stories with dynamic female relationships are evolving.
“Firstly, it’s high time that we stop calling films and series – male-centric or female-centric. These are stories in itself, irrespective of the gender of the lead cast, they are stories beyond gender, region and cultures that need to be spoken about and celebrated,” she told Koimoi.
She further added, "However, I am thrilled that stories with dynamic female relationships are evolving, and we see women in new characters in every form. Moving beyond the quintessential heroine, today’s female characters have their own flaws, they are much more layered and are now even doing action, just like men in Saas Bahu aur Flamingo!”
Whereas, Radhika Madan revealed that she got injured while shooting for the action scenes.
She said, “For one of the action scenes, there was this conveyor belt from the second floor to the ground floor, and I had to slide from this second floor to the ground floor. I was really fired up and super excited to shoot this scene because I really like doing action scenes. In fact, all the action scenes in Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo that are there, I have done it myself, I really don’t like using stunt doubles. So for this particular scene, I started the sequence and mid-way through it, I realised that my shoe or my heel had gotten stuck to the side and I flew and bounced off the belt.”
'Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo' is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. It will explore the power dynamics between an unapologetically hardcore mother-in-law and strong and tenacious younger women.
