Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: The Mumbai Police arrested the main suspect in Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's stabbing case on Friday after 30 hours of massive manhunt. The actor was stabbed during the scuffle that broke out after a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence on January 16. During the investigation, cops spotted the intruder at the Bandra station while checking the CCTV footage. The man was seen armed with a wooden stick and a long hexa blade. The footage captured the face of the suspected attacker wearing a brown collared T-shirt and red scarf while descending the stairs. Now, Mumbai Police has taken the suspect into custody for questioning. However, it has not been confirmed if he is the same man who attempted robbery and stabbed Saif Ali Khan. The suspect has been brought to Bandra Police Station for questioning. 

Police suspected that after the incident, the suspect was boarding a local train in the morning and was heading towards Vasai Virar. As per the earlier statement by the police, the man was last seen near Bandra railway station. As reported by ANI, Mumbai police said that they had taken possession of a blade extracted from Saif's back. The efforts to recover the remaining part are underway. Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. He underwent two surgeries and is in a stable position. The doctors in a statement shared that after asking the family they will shift the actor to a general ward. 

As per reports, the intruder first went to Saif's son Jeh's room with the motive of robbery. Hearing some sounds, Jeh's nanny was the first person to notice the attacker. When she tried to protect Jeh, the intruder asked her to keep silent. In her statement to the police, she further described how the intruder attempted to stab her with a blade while holding a wooden object on the other. While she tried to protect herself, the thief attacked her. As she asked him what he wanted, the intruder demanded Rs 1 crore. Another caretaker in the house informed the same to Saif and Kareena. After which Saif intervened and tried to handle the situation. During the scuffle between the actor and the thief, he suffered six main injuries including wounds on the back of his neck, near his right shoulder, the left side of his back, and on his left wrist and elbow. Kareena informed Saif's elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan about the incident after which he came to the residence and has taken Saif to the hospital.
