Saif Ali Khan Stabbed: In the early hours of January 16, a shocking robbery at Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence in Mumbai left the nation in disbelief. During a confrontation with an intruder, the actor sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for surgery. He is currently recovering under close observation by doctors. Expressing concern, Lalita D’Silva, the former nanny of Saif’s son Taimur Ali Khan, shared her thoughts, stating that she couldn’t imagine how the young boys must be feeling after the incident.
Lalita D’Silva, who worked in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's household for seven years after Taimur’s birth, shared her emotions about the harrowing incident. In an interview with Pinkvilla, she said, “I am feeling very bad and it is unbearable for me to imagine how Taimur and Jeh will be feeling at this point, especially Jeh, who is so young. They must have been really scared. I am very anxious about this incident and strongly believe the culprits must be punished. I haven’t been able to speak to anyone from the family yet, but I pray for their safety.”
Saif Ali Khan's Stabbing Incident
The attack took place around 2:00 am on January 16 when an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan's home using the fire escape, intending to commit burglary. The actor intervened after the intruder confronted a member of the household staff, leading to a violent scuffle. Saif sustained six stab wounds during the confrontation and was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery. He was later moved to the ICU for close monitoring. According to Mumbai Police, an investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect.
Kareena Kapoor’s Statement
On Thursday evening, Kareena Kapoor Khan addressed the media and fans through a social media post, requesting privacy for the family during this challenging time. She wrote, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from relentless speculation and coverage.”
