Saif Ali Khan Attack: The first photograph of the suspect involved in the shocking knife attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has surfaced, providing a critical lead in the ongoing investigation. Captured by a CCTV camera, the image shows the intruder staring directly into the lens while descending the staircase after the crime. This visual evidence has gone viral, intensifying public and police efforts to apprehend the suspect.

According to reports, the attack occurred early Thursday morning at Saif Ali Khan's 12th-floor residence in the upscale Bandra West area of Mumbai. The intruder, allegedly intending to commit burglary, gained access to the actor's apartment through a fire escape. Around 2:00 a.m., the house help, Eliyama Phillipes, noticed the intruder and raised an alarm. Saif Ali Khan confronted the individual, leading to a physical altercation during which the actor sustained six stab wounds. The suspect fled the scene, with CCTV footage capturing his movements as he entered and exited the building via the rear staircase.

Following the attack, Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at approximately 3:30 a.m. As per Hindustan Times, Dr. Nitin Dange, a senior surgeon at the hospital, confirmed that the actor had suffered severe injuries, including a deep wound near his spine, which required emergency surgery. Additional injuries to his hand and neck were also treated. Fortunately, Saif Ali Khan is now stable and recovering under medical supervision.

Mumbai Police have classified the case as an attempted burglary. Multiple teams, including specialized units from the Crime Branch, have been deployed to track down the suspect. As per NDTV, Senior police officer Dixit Gedam revealed that the suspect used the building's fire escape to access the apartment. Authorities are currently questioning the house help and other staff members to piece together the sequence of events.

The viral CCTV image has provided crucial evidence, with police confident of apprehending the suspect soon. The photograph shows the intruder in a composed yet alert state, which has sparked significant public interest and concern.

The incident has raised questions about the security measures at the high-profile residential complex. Investigators are probing how the intruder managed to bypass the building's security and gain undetected access to Saif Ali Khan’s home. The role of the security guards on duty at the time is also under examination.
