Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is working in AR Murugadoss’s Sikander, has reportedly got a new project with Jawan director Atlee Kumar. Reportedly, the Jawan director collaborated with Allu Arjun but things didn’t work out there as the actor didn’t give his approval. Later, Atlee approached Salman to pitch the idea of the movie, which he liked a lot. The filmmaker is currently working on the script. The announcement of the film will be made by his production house Sun Pictures.
According to a report by Telugu360, Atlee’s demand for a big paycheque has shocked Geetha Arts, owned by Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind. The reports also suggest that Salman and Atlee will be paid a huge amount for this movie. The shooting of the untitled film will start next year.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has kept the project on hold as he is focusing on AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar. The movie is expected to be released in theatres on Eid 2025 and the production of the film is expected to be completed by March next year. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Patil Babbar, Nawab Shah and Chaitannya Choudhry in key roles.
Whereas, Atlee last directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. The action thriller showcased Shah Rukh in a double role and it marked the first collaboration of King Khan and South lady superstar Nayanthara. It also starred Vijay Sethupathi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanya Malhotra, Amritha Aiyer, Priyamani, Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Viraj Ghelani, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak, Sanjay Dutt, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya in significant roles. The movie was released on 7th September 2023 in theatres. It is currently streaming on Netflix.

On the other hand, Allu Arjun is busy working on Pushpa 2: The Rule. The Sukumar directorial also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Sritej, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Priyamani, and Divi Vadthya in prominent roles.
