The new pairing of Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna has excited not only fans but also filmmakers. The actors will share screen space for the first time in the highly anticipated movie Sikandar, which they are currently filming. Reports now suggest that Salman and Rashmika will also headline Jawan director Atlee's upcoming project.

According to sources quoted by Filmfare, Salman will lead Atlee’s next film, with Rashmika joining the star cast. The sources revealed, "Both Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna had a great working dynamic on the sets of Sikandar. Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa 2 impressed both Salman and Atlee, as well. That’s why the makers have decided to sign her in Salman and Atlee’s upcoming film, too."

In December last year, Atlee spoke about his collaboration with Salman on a tentatively titled film, A6. He mentioned that the script is nearly complete and that they are in the preparation stage. He also teased that the film’s casting would surprise audiences, calling it one of the proudest films of the country. As per reports, Atlee is trying to bring on board megastars Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan.
