Ranbir Kapoor To Feature In Aamir Khan's Sports Drama: Aamir Khan has not yet announced his upcoming project following Laal Singh Chaddha, but it seems that he has a sports drama in mind. In the past, the actor had expressed his desire to remake the Spanish film Campeones. Earlier reports suggested that Salman Khan might be involved in the movie, but now it appears that Ranbir Kapoor has been cast for the role.

As per a report by Bollywood Life, Salman Khan had the opportunity to review the film's script, after which he provided significant suggestions for revisions. However, as the process of revising the script took several months, Salman decided to proceed with his other commitments. Now, it seems that the actor is no longer involved with the project.

Ranbir has not commenced any new projects since the completion of the Animal shoot. His most recent film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, received positive responses both in theatres and on OTT platforms.

Ranbir Kapoor has had the opportunity to listen to the film's script and has showed keen interest in the project thus far. If all goes well, there is a possibility that the actor will be confirmed for the film.

Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor already has a sports biopic lined up. He is set to portray the role of Sourav Ganguly in an upcoming film. If he agrees to Aamir Khan's project, it would mark his second venture into the realm of sports dramas.
