Bigg Boss 18: Ahead of the much-anticipated premiere of the reality show, ColorsTV dropped an exciting promo featuring the show's long-standing host, Salman Khan. The video, shared on Instagram, showcases Salman in a unique setup, interacting with AI-generated versions of his younger and older selves.
In the clip, Salman stands in front of two screens that show his AI-generated avatars. The young Salman, appearing on one of the screens, kicks off the conversation by asking the host, “Ab kaunsa confession de raha hai? Kya lafda kiya tune (What confession are you giving now? What mess have you created)?” This comment seemed to irritate the real Salman, who responded defensively, saying, “Na maine kuch kiya hai, na tune kuch kiya tha (I didn’t do anything now, and you didn’t do anything back then).”
The interaction takes a turn when the AI-generated old Salman joins in, cheekily asking if he should explain things with love or a slap. This visibly flusters Salman, who throws a curious question about the longevity of the show: “Is Bigg Boss still around in that season?” The old avatar humorously reveals that he’s preparing a promo for Bigg Boss 38, leaving Salman bewildered.

The promo ends on a reflective note when the older Salman mentions that it’s someone’s birthday, making the real Salman pause in silence. This cleverly edited promo was captioned, “Salman Khan bhi nahi bache Bigg Boss ke chakravyuh se, toh kya hone waala hai contestants ka haal (Salman Khan couldn’t escape the Bigg Boss maze, so what’s going to happen to the contestants)?"
Salman has been associated with Bigg Boss since its fourth season in 2010 and has become synonymous with the reality show. His engaging hosting style and unique approach have drawn viewers in for over a decade. He also took the reins of Bigg Boss OTT 2, a web-based version of the show on JioCinema, after filmmaker Karan Johar hosted its inaugural season.
Fans, as always, had strong reactions to the new promo. One user commented, “Ab kya lafda kiya tune was personal,” while another chimed in, “This was so cute @beingsalmankhan!” Some even praised the creative use of AI, with comments like “Mr. Handsome forever, looking so good in the future!” The latest season promises even more drama and intrigue, as contestants get ready to face Salman's scrutiny and navigate the twists and turns of the Bigg Boss house. Bigg Boss 18 will have its grand premiere on October 6 at 9 PM on ColorsTV and JioCinema.
