Sam Bahadur OTT Release: Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra in the lead, is all set to hit the theatres. Sam Bahadur is touted to be one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year 2023. Vicky Kaushal takes on the role of the charismatic war hero Sam Manekshaw, portraying the complexities and heroism inherent in the character. On the other hand, Fatima Sana Shaikh embodies the persona of the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, while Sanya Malhotra steps into the character of Silloo, Sam's wife.

After its much-awaited theatrical release, Sam Bahadur will be made available on OTT juggernaut Zee5. The OTT release date for the movie has not been revealed yet.
About Sam Bahadur
'Sam Bahadur' is an upcoming biographical war drama which intricately delves into the life of India's inaugural Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. Helmed by director Meghna Gulzar, who collaboratively wrote the script with Bhavani Iyer and Shantanu Srivastava, the project is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies.
The film's musical composition is orchestrated by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, with the lyrical genius of Gulzar shaping the words. Enhancing the cinematic experience, the background score is skillfully crafted by Ketan Sodha. The inaugural single, 'Badhte Chalo', was unveiled on November 13, 2023, setting the musical tone for the audience.
Ahead of its release, Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Sam Bahadur' has garnered a nationwide box office collection of approximately Rs 64 lakh, representing the sale of 18,861 tickets. According to a report in TOI, Delhi emerged as the frontrunner in this financial feat, contributing a significant Rs 19.8 lakh to the total. Maharashtra followed closely with a collection of Rs 15.8 lakh, while Karnataka made a notable contribution of Rs 7.46 lakh. Telangana also played its part in the success, earning an estimated Rs 4.91 lakh.
