Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently expressed her excitement after seeing Shah Rukh Khan and Vicky Kaushal groove to her popular song, Oo Antava. The two Bollywood superstars surprised the audience with their performance at IIFA 2024. The moment was even more special for Samantha, who starred in the original version of the song featured in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, as she never expected to see Shah Rukh and Vicky dancing to it.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Samantha shared a clip of their performance and captioned it, "I never imagined this happening in a million years," adding several laughing and heart emojis. The post quickly went viral, with fans appreciating Samantha’s enthusiastic response.

Shah Rukh and Vicky’s impromptu performance happened while the duo was co-hosting the IIFA awards. The two were chatting about the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise when they decided to break into the dance. Their moves were met with loud cheers from the audience, and the video soon made its way across social media platforms.

In addition to dancing to Oo Antava, Shah Rukh and Vicky set the stage on fire with a few more hit numbers. They performed on Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, originally from Shah Rukh’s movie Duplicate but remade for the recent film Bad Newz. Shah Rukh even learned the hookstep of Tauba Tauba from Vicky. Filmmaker Karan Johar also joined them on stage and showcased his moves on the track Jhoome Jo Pathaan from Shah Rukh’s blockbuster movie Pathaan.
Besides attending IIFA, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had an eventful evening as she was honoured with the ‘Woman of the Year in Indian Cinema’ award at IIFA Utsavam. The actress, who looked stunning in a green gown, took the stage to accept her award and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition.
On the professional front, Samantha has been busy promoting her upcoming series Citadel: Honey Bunny. She was recently in London with her team for the show’s premiere and press interactions. The series, directed by Raj and DK, is an Indian adaptation of Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s Citadel, released in 2023. Set in the 1990s, the spy thriller also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, and Saqib Saleem in supporting roles.
