Over the years, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had big plans of making the remake of 1952 film 'Baiju Bawra' after the completion of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' locking Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the two leads in the film.

Now, according to a report in Pinkvilla, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to make the film with the right casting and will also revive on making 'Inshallah.' As both films are mature romantic comedies, he is planning to choose either one with the right script and cast.

The filmmaker is clear on making 'Inshallah' as well and is planning to bring Salman Khan on board. However, as things fell off due to financial issues between the duo, both films are now again being silently approached. For the universe, 'Baiju Bawra' was soon to be produced by Pen Studios initially, but the deal has fallen through now.

Therefore, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keeping both options open at this time and will finalise the details after getting the right cast and script. After 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and 'Heera Mandi', Bhansali is also keeping the idea of directing a light-hearted romantic comedy.

The 'Guzarish' director is also more inclined towards 'Inshallah' as the complete pre-production work of the film with the music album being ready. The making of sets and taking the film on floors will once be finalised with the onboard of the cast and script.

A hefty amount of money has already been invested in the pre-production of 'Inshallah', but with the exit of Salman Khan, the filmmaker offered the project to Hrithik Roshan, who gave a pass due to working on multiple projects.
