Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 18: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani-Starrer's Theatrical Run Comes To A Quiet Finish

Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Collection Day 18: After its release, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead, garnered immense appreciation and adoration from its fans. Nevertheless, the film is currently encountering fierce competition from the much-anticipated action thriller 'Mission Impossible 7' starring Tom Cruise, which has taken over the box office in India.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the movie witnessed a remarkable start, amassing a collection of Rs 10 crore on its opening day. However, by the 18th day of its release, the film experienced a significant drop, generating only Rs 2.30 crore in collections, resulting in a total accumulation of Rs 77.41 crore. On Sunday, the film sustained an average occupancy rate of 28.25 per cent in Hindi-language screenings.

For the unversed, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' marks Kartik and Kiara's second collaboration after starring in the blockbuster 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' last year. Taking to Instagram on July 11, Kartik shared a post expressing his gratitude to fans for the film’s initial success. Revealing that the film has grossed Rs 100 crore worldwide, he wrote in the caption, "Thank you for 100 cr ka Love (white heart and folded hands emojis). #SatyaPremKiKatha."

For those who are not aware, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' is the second project that brings together Kartik and Kiara, following their successful collaboration in the blockbuster film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' last year. On July 11, Kartik took to Instagram to express his gratitude towards the fans for the initial success of the film. In the caption, he thanked everyone for the love and support as 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' crossed the milestone of Rs 100 crore worldwide. The caption read, "Thank you for the 100 cr ka Love. #SatyaPremKiKatha."

Apart from Kartik and Kiara, the film also features acclaimed actors such as Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. The film is a collaborative project between NGE and Namah Pictures.

In a recent interview with Hello magazine, Kartik shared his thoughts on his character Sattu in the movie. He described Sattu as a very unique character, emphasising that his mother's statement in the film, "Tu ek lauta piece hai," truly captures his essence. Sattu is depicted as a simple, honest, and deeply in love individual.

Kartik mentioned that Sattu's eyes convey a lot of emotions and that he relates closely to the character. He expressed his belief that it is a character that viewers will easily connect with, and encouraged audiences to watch the film to draw their own comparisons.
