Fauji 2: The iconic TV series Fauji, which marked Shah Rukh Khan’s entry into the entertainment world 35 years ago, is returning with a sequel. Produced by Sandeep Singh, the show promises to bring back the charm of the original in a modern, updated format. Fauji 2 will feature Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the lead roles, along with a fresh group of 12 newcomers. These young actors include Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayan Manchanda, Neel Satgupta, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapoor, Manshi and Sushmita Bhandari.

The music will be composed by Shreyas Puranik, with Sonu Nigam lending his voice to the title track. Sharad Kelkar will provide the voiceover for the series, adding to the excitement. Abhinav Pareek, known for directing 'Sab Moh Maya Hai' and 'A Wedding Story,' will helm the project. Nishant Chandrashekhar will also be part of the directing team. The show is produced by Sandeep Singh, with Vicky Jain, Zafar Mehndi, and Sameer Halim serving as co-producers.

While there’s no official confirmation on whether Shah Rukh Khan will make an appearance in Fauji 2, fans are hopeful. The original Fauji, aired in 1989, starred Shah Rukh as Abhimanyu Rai, a role that introduced him to television audiences. The sequel, which will air on Doordarshan, could hold surprises for SRK’s fans, though nothing has been revealed yet.

Fauji 2 aims to capture the essence of the original series, which played a significant role in Shah Rukh Khan's rise to fame. The new version hopes to appeal to both old fans of the show and a new generation of viewers. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates, especially regarding SRK’s potential involvement. After its release, the new season will air on Doordarshan.
