KGF star Yash has responded to speculations about Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo appearance in his Kannada film 'Toxic.' Announced last year with its title revealed by Yash in December, the film is directed by Geetu Mohandas, known for helming Nivin Pauly’s 'Moothon.' Despite fans eagerly awaiting updates on the film, rumours of Bollywood superstar's cameo surfaced. Now, addressing the same during a recent press conference, Yash denied any such reports.

When a reporter inquired whether Shah Rukh was being considered for a role in 'Toxic,' Yash promptly dismissed with a simple no. A video capturing his reaction quickly gained traction on social media. A user said, "2 mins silence for those,who believed all the buzzzz #YashBOSS | #ToxicTheMovie." Another added, "He clarified about cameos... It's just a fake news Nothing is confirmed, until he announced by himself..#YashBOSS #ToxicTheMovie." Take a look

Recently, Hindustan Times reported that both Yash and Shah Rukh Khan are eager to collaborate, although no script has been finalised yet. Discussions for the same have taken place, sparking excitement from both actors. However, they are cautious about selecting the right project to avoid disappointing their fans. "There have been conversations around him working with Shah Rukh Khan — and it is an idea which got both of the actors super excited. However, they need the right project to collaborate together as it will come with a lot of expectations, and they don’t want to disappoint their fans. That’s why they want it to be a well-thought move, instead of an impulsive one."

As for Toxic, Yash seems to be portraying an anti-hero in the film. It is reported that Kareena Kapoor is being considered as the female lead in the movie. Teaming up with KVN Productions, Yash will release the film under his banner, Monster Mind Creations. With its announcement video sparking considerable interest, 'Toxic' is expected to be a large-scale production. Currently, he is engaged in the development of this project and has not yet confirmed his participation in several other ventures.
