O'Romeo Advance Booking Day 1 Report: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri are gearing up for the release of their upcoming action thriller O'Romeo. Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jala have important roles in the gangster movie, while Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia make cameo appearances. O'Romeo is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi. It tells the true-life story of Mumbai gangster Hussain Ustara and his alliance with Sapna Didi to assassinate Dawood Ibrahim.

O'Romeo opened its advance booking on February 10 throughout India, and based on Sacnilk's early estimates, the Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri movie's box office journey appeared to be promising.

O'Romeo Advance Booking Day 1

O'Romeo made Rs 38.96 lakh at the box office with 16,846 tickets sold on the first day of ticket sales, according to Sacnilk. There are 3610 shows in theaters as of right now, but that figure will probably rise. The blocked seats data takes the tally upto Rs 1.44 crore. 

O'Romeo saw the greatest advance bookings in Maharashtra (Rs 5.91 lakh), Uttar Pradesh (Rs 5.98 lakh), Delhi (Rs 7.35 lakh), and Gujarat (Rs 7.37 lakh). The film's footfall will immediately see a rise if gangster movie is able to get off to a good start.

O'Romeo will probably draw enough audience members to the theaters given the recent box office failures of Vadh 2 and Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. Also, the movie may profit from this lovers' season as it is being released during Valentine's Week.

O'Romeo Movie Budget

O'Romeo marks the reunion of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj after nearly 12 years. The duo has previously collaborated on films like Kaminey, Rangoon, and Haider. The makers of the film have already created a buzz by releasing its trailer and several songs. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the ensemble cast, which also includes Laila Majnu actors Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, O'Romeo is reportedly mounted on a budget of Rs 75 to 80 crore.

O'Romeo vs Tu Yaa Main

Tu Yaa Main, Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor's survival thriller, will compete with O'Romeo at the box office. Even while Shahid Kapoor led O'Romeo is anticipated to have an advantage in terms of the number of screens, it will still need to demonstrate its worth through content and audience interaction in order to maintain momentum after the first weekend.

Viewers have so far responded favourably to O' Romeo's promotional content, including as its trailer, songs, and teasers, which have sparked interest for plot of the movie.
