Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri are all set to team up with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for an action thriller. This exciting announcement was made by the makers on Wednesday. The untitled film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is set to release in 2025.

Taking to the official X handle, the film's production house Nadiadwala Grandson dropped the post that read, “#SajidNadiadwala presents a @vishalrbhardwaj film! A spectacular cinematic journey begins on 6th Jan 2025. Film releasing on 5th December 2025." Interestingly, actors Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda are also part of the spectacular cinematic film. The shoot will begin on January 6, 2025 and the movie will be released on December 5, 2025.

On Tuesday, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri teased fans about their upcoming movie. Shahid, who is gearing up for Deva, shared a mirror selfie on his Instagram story, stating "Prep time ..... Naya saal naya maal ......Next character next film what can I do that I haven't before ......lost in the woods....... But you can't be original if you aren't ready to be lost ...... DEVA was dark and menacing yet vulnerable and noble ..... who will this new guy be....... No friggin clue so far ....... But what a joy to discover yet again what lies within."

Shahid also hinted that he is sliding into the edgy nasty 90s gangster avatar. The movie is reportedly based on the life of gangster Hussain Ustara. On the other hand, sharing the notepad on her Instagram story, Triptii Dimri shared her excitement for the project with Sajid Nadiadwala and wrote"New beginnings."

Fans are eager to see the fresh pair on screen and the reunion of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj after Kaminey and Haider.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor's Deva also starring Pooja Hegde, is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2025.
