Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 5: The film starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, and R Madhavan witnessed a major drop in its Tuesday's collection. Shaitaan exhibited a commendable performance on Monday by garnering Rs 7.25 crore, notwithstanding a 50 percent decline from its Friday box office collection. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is trying to maintain its draw for audiences. As per the latest report from Sacnilk.com, the supernatural horror-thriller has surpassed the Rs 60 crore mark, despite a decrease in collections during weekdays.

Shaitaan Box Office Report

Following a strong opening at the box office, Shaitaan experienced a significant dip in its collection during weekdays. On its first Tuesday, 'Shaitaan' accumulated approximately Rs 6.50 crore, marking its lowest earnings to date. The film experienced a robust performance over the weekend, witnessing a surge in numbers, but faced a decline on Monday with collections of Rs 7.25 crore. With this, the total collection is estimated to be Rs 67.75 crore. Shaitaan had an overall 13.38 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Moving forward, there is an anticipation that the film will exceed ₹Rs 80 crore in its first week of release.

Reports indicate that the budget for the film, covering production and advertising costs, is estimated to be around 100 Crores.

About Shaitaan

Receiving predominantly positive reviews from film critics, the movie has been lauded for its performances. Directed by Vikas Bahl, it is a Hindi adaptation of the highly acclaimed Gujarati film 'Vash'. The storyline revolves around a family whose peaceful existence is disrupted by an unwelcome guest who overstays his welcome, manipulating a young girl into embracing her darker instincts and turning against her own family.

R Madhavan portrays the role of a sinister character, while Ajay Devgn and Jyothika depict a married couple on screen. Presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, and Panorama Studios International, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak. The musical score for 'Shaitaan' is crafted by Devi Sri Prasad.
