Shanaya Kapoor is making big career moves even before her debut film hits the big screen. From taking on a challenging double role in Student of the Year 3 to signing a new film with Munjya star Abhay Verma, she is quickly carving a space for herself in Bollywood. Fans have taken notice, with many believing she might just surpass her star-kid contemporaries.
The Student of the Year franchise has been a launchpad for several young stars, including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, and Ananya Panday. Now, Shanaya is set to carry the legacy forward with a unique twist—she will reportedly play two distinct characters in Student of the Year 3. Not many newcomers take on such a challenge so early in their careers, making this a bold move for the young actress. According to reports, the film will present her in two sharply contrasting roles, giving her a chance to showcase her versatility from the get-go.

Along with SOTY 3, Shanaya has also signed a film opposite Abhay Verma, best known for his role in Munjya. This adds to her growing lineup, which already includes Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey. Her debut film, Tu Yaa Main, backed by Aanand L. Rai, has also generated buzz with its teaser. Featuring Adarsh Gourav in a lead role, the thriller is expected to showcase her in a fresh and exciting avatar.
Shanaya’s recent career choices have sparked conversations on social media. One fan wrote, “She’s the real underdog—we all underestimated her and overestimated Suhana.” Another commented, “Whoever her agent is, give them a raise.
