In a recent episode of Shark Tank India Season 4, a team of entrepreneurs, Ravinder and Jaspreet, presented their skateboard brand, seeking an investment of Rs 50 lakh in exchange for a 2 per cent stake in their company, valuing it at a staggering Rs 25 crore. As they began their demonstration, Anupam Mittal, one of the show's judges, was visibly taken aback, reacting with excitement to the impressive skateboard tricks on display. However, what caught the attention of many viewers was the uncanny familiarity of Ravinder's face with that of Ashneer Grover.
Ashneer Grover's Lookalike On Shark Tank India 4
Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar were struck by Ravinder's resemblance to a former "shark", without explicitly mentioning Ashneer Grover's name. Ravinder and Jaspreet acknowledged having heard the comparison before, with Namita noting that despite the physical similarity, Ravinder's personality was distinctly different.
Ravinder and Jaspreet, the entrepreneurial duo, shared their vision of transitioning from manufacturing skateboards for global brands in China to building their own brand in India. They recognised the vast potential in the burgeoning skateboarding culture in the country and were confident that their competitively priced brand could successfully tap into a substantial market worth Rs 50 crore.

However, Anupam Mittal's curiosity was piqued when he discovered that the founders were already generating a significant revenue of Rs 15-20 crore from their factory in China. He couldn't help but question their motivation for seeking investment in a smaller market.
