Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are rumoured to tie the knot in the coming days. While the couple has chosen to maintain secrecy regarding their impending wedding, reports circulating about their upcoming marriage, is now focused on their families as they prepare for the big day. Amidst speculations regarding family attendance at the wedding, Shatrughan Sinha, father of the bride-to-be Sonakshi Sinha, recently clarified in an interview his happiness about the upcoming event. He confirmed his attendance and expressed his excitement, assuring that he will be present to bless and support the couple on their special day.

In an interview with Zoom, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has firmly dismissed circulating rumours that he will not be attending his daughter Sonakshi Sinha's wedding, emphasising that the reports are false. "Tell me, whose life it is anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?"

"The very fact that I have still been in Mumbai conveys that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but as her real kavach (armor) as well. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live life together. They look very nice together," he added and wished for the couple.

Further, Shatrughan remarked that those spreading such misinformation seem disgruntled amidst the happy occasion. He suggested that their motive for spreading lies might stem from their own frustrations. "I would like to caution them with my signature dialogue: Khamosh, it’s none of your business. Reports indicate that an audio invite featuring Sonakshi and Zaheer has surfaced, where they confirm their impending marriage. In the leaked audio, they express their eagerness to embrace the moment that will officially unite them as husband and wife.
